apple pie cheesecake
I found this recipe in Woman's Day Magazine about 4 years ago. I made it for Thanksgiving and everyone LOVED it! So now I make this every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is AMAZING!!

Ingredients
- 15 - pecan shortbread cookies
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 packages cream cheesesoftened
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 - eggs
- 1 can 21oz apple pie filling (comstock)
- 3 cups whip cream or topping
- 2 tablespoons caramel sundae topping
How To Make apple pie cheesecake

Step 1Preheat Oven to 350 F. Wrap outside of 9" springfoam pan with foil. Place Cookies in food processor; process to fine crumbs. Gradually add butter, pulsing until combined. Press mixture into the bottom and up one quater of side.

Step 2On medium speed, beat cream cheese, sugars, cinnamon and vanilla until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time.

Step 3Pour 3 cups of Cheesecake Batter into crust Top with Apple Pie Filling Then pour remaining Cheesecake Batter on top.

Step 4Bake 45 minutes or until set Turn oven off; Let Cheesecake stand in oven with door closed for 1 hour. Remove from from oven; cool completely on rack. Remove Foil and refrigerate cheesecake until ready to serve.

Step 5Remove side of Pan. Top Cheesecake with Whip Cream Drizzle with Caramel topping.
