Ingredients
- 4 or 5 - sour apples
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
How To Make apple pie

Step 1peel and cut apples into eighths, remove cores. line pie plate with your pie pastery, fill evenly with sliced apples.

Step 2Mix Sugar, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice and sprinkle over apples.dot with butter.

Step 3Add Top Crust.Bake 45 minutes or until apples are soft and crust is brown. *Recipe book does not say what temp to set oven assuming 350*F

Step 4*TIP* Dried Apples may be used in place of fresh fruit if soaked overnight in cold water. AppleSauce maybe used in a baked crust.
