How To Make apple/pear pie
-
Step 1Peel and slice pears to desired size.
-
Step 2Melt butter in a frying pan. Add brown sugar and cinnamon and salt. Cook the pears for a few minutes, and then add a can of Apple Pie filling. Simmer until hot and desired consistency.
-
Step 3Pour into prepared pie pan. Cover apples and pears with the second pie crust. Poke holes in top of pie crust. I like to make hearts!
-
Step 4Bake in a 400 degree oven for approximately 40 minutes or less depending on how brown you like your crust! We like ours browned and crispy!
