Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups mincemeat
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 - 9-inch pie crust, enough for a double crust
How To Make apple mince walnut pie

Step 1Combine sugar, flour, spices and salt in a bowl. Add apples, Mix lightly. Add mincemeat and walnuts; mix well.

Step 2Heap into pastry lined 9 inch pie pan, dot with butter. Adjust top crust, flite edges, and cut vents.

Step 3Brush top crust with milk, sprinkle with sugar. Bake in a 425F oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until crust is browned and apples are tender. Cool on rack
