How to Make Apple Custard Pie
- 1Pare, core, cut apples in eighths.
Arrange in 9 inch UNBAKED pastry shell.
- 2Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Stir in light cream.
Pour mixture over apples.
Sprinkle with ground cinnamon
- 3Cover loosely with foil. Bake at 375 F for 1 hour.
Remove foil; bake 15 minutes more, or till apples are done.
Serve warm with Cheddar cheese, if desired.
