This a kind of quick & easy recipe to make when you have left over apples. More so around the Holidays. Qucik, easy & oh so good. I make this 3 times a year starting from Thanksgiving on.

Ingredients
- 6 - large tart cooking apples, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- - topping
- 1 box betty crocker (gluten free) yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts, anykind
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1 - ice cream, scoop
How To Make apple crisp (gluten free)

Step 1Heat the oven to 350F. In a large bowl toss the apple slices with 1 tsp. cinnamon well. Spread them evenly on the bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan.

Step 2In another large bowl mix the cake mix & nuts. With a pastry blender or fork cut in the butter until crumbly.

Step 3Add in 1 tsp cinnamon & the egg. Mix very well. Sprinkle evenly over the apples.

Step 4Bake for about 45 mins or until topping islightly golden brown. Serve warm with any kind of ice cream.
