I can't think of a better desert than one made with fresh apples. This is a very easy recipe. Just naturally delicious..

Ingredients

  • 3 cups bisquick biscuit mix
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • - juice of one orange
  • 6 large granny smith apples
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

How To Make apple cobbler

  • Step 1
Combine the bisquick, sugar, evaporated milk and orange juice in a mixing bowl and stir until dough leaves side of bowl. Knead several times on a lightly floured board. Roll out about 3/4 of the dough on a lightly floured board to a 9x14 inch rectangle, 1/4 inch thick. Place in baking dish. Pare and slice the apples into thin wedges and arrange over the dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon and additional sugar. Roll out the remaining dough and cut into thin strips. Arrange in criss cross fashion over the apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until brown and the apples are tender.
