peeled and cored apples cut about 1/3 of an inch thick
freshly grated nutmeg
1put all ingredients into a bowl EXCLUDING pie crust
2line 10 in. pie plate with apple mixture
3roll out the 2nd dough into a 13 in. diameter cut a pretty shape(or just a hole) about 2 1/4 in. out of the center
4place 2nd dough on top and push edges together
5brush top of pie with a beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar
6bake until apples are tender. about on hour.
