Being from New England apple trees are more common than currency... I have quite a few recipes I'd like to share =)

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds peeled and cored apples cut about 1/3 of an inch thick
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 6 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 - store bought pie dough
How To Make apple-cherry pie

Step 1put all ingredients into a bowl EXCLUDING pie crust

Step 2line 10 in. pie plate with apple mixture

Step 3roll out the 2nd dough into a 13 in. diameter cut a pretty shape(or just a hole) about 2 1/4 in. out of the center

Step 4place 2nd dough on top and push edges together

Step 5brush top of pie with a beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar

Step 6bake until apples are tender. about on hour.
