These are so easy to make and so scrumptious, I foresee a problem with my wanting to eat them ALL the time! My next attempt is going to be Pumpkin Pie Sticks-- bite size pumpkin pie in a portable, dunkable stick?? Sounds great right? Stay tuned for that!   • 2
    refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1/2 c
    apple butter
  • 1
    egg white (for egg wash)
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    decorator sugar crystals (turbinado sugar works also)
  • ·
    caramel ice cream sauce

How to Make Apple Butter Pie Sticks


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out one of the packaged pie crust doughs. Spread a thin layer of apple butter across pie crust. Leave about 1/8-1/4 inch all around the edge.
  3. Unroll second pie crust and place on top of apple butter. Press edges together very lightly.
  4. Make an egg wash with egg white and a little water. Brush on top crust, then sprinkle with decorator sugar crystals.
  5. Using a ravioli cutter or a pizza cutter, cut into strips that are about 3/4" wide x 3" long.
  6. Place on prepared pans and bake both pans for about 19-20 minutes or until firm and golden brown. (It may be slightly shorter baking time if baking only 1 pan at a time.)
  7. Drizzle with caramel ice cream sauce and enjoy!!
