How to Make apple/almond pie
- Heat oven to 180C/350F.
- Peel, core and slice apples. Put into a 8 -9" deep pie dish. Add butter, wine and honey. Cover with glad wrap and microwave on high for approx 5 mins.
- In another bowl mix together ground almonds, butter/marg, egg, sugar. When combined spoon over the apples and spread out smoothly.
- Bake uncovered in the centre of the oven for 45 mins until cooked through and golden brown.
That's all. We love this pie, so serve it with cream or ice-cream and enjoy.
