I found this recipe in a newspaper with a food column. The first time I used it, was to make an apricot pie. It turned out perfect. I recently tweaked this to make an addition of almond flavoring, for when the mood strikes.

Ingredients

  • 1 - empty pie pan or plate
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4-6 cups fresh fruit of choice, depending on the size of your fruit or the size of pie pan or plate

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp. almond extract (for those who like that flavor)
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

How To Make any fruit pie
