any fruit pie
I found this recipe in a newspaper with a food column. The first time I used it, was to make an apricot pie. It turned out perfect. I recently tweaked this to make an addition of almond flavoring, for when the mood strikes.

Ingredients
- 1 - empty pie pan or plate
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4-6 cups fresh fruit of choice, depending on the size of your fruit or the size of pie pan or plate
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp. almond extract (for those who like that flavor)
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
How To Make any fruit pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Step 2Prepare fresh fruit for pie, by peeling, & coring, if necessary. Spread approx. 2 Tbs. butter in the empty pie pan or plate & up the sides. Add prepared fruit to pie pan or plate.

Step 3Cream sugar & melted butter or margarine with electric mixer. Add egg, flour, & vanilla. Blend well. Pour & spread over fruit. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
