Ingredients
- CRUST
- 2/3 cup graham cracker crumbs (about 14 squares)
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, broken
- 1/4 cup sugar
- FILLING
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup cherries
- TOPPING
- 1 pint sour cream
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- OPTIONAL GARNISH
- - slivered almonds
- - maraschino cherries
How To Make almond cherry cheesecake (oven version)

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2Mix crust ingredients and press onto bottom and sides of 9-inch pie pan.

Step 3Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy.

Step 4Mix in eggs until creamy and smooth.

Step 5Stir in cherries.

Step 6Pour cream cheese mixture into crust.

Step 7Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes.

Step 8Let pie cool for 10 minutes.

Step 9Mix topping ingredients, except almonds.
