Ingredients

  • FIRST LAYER:

  • 1/2 c
    butter or oleo, softened
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    nutmeats, chopped or grated
  • SECOND LAYER:

  • 8 oz
    package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 c
    cool whip
  • THIRD LAYER:

  • 2 pkg
    any flavor instant pudding mix, use the regular size box, and not the cook and use type.
  • 3 c
    milk

How to Make 4 Layer Dessert

Step-by-Step

  1. First Layer: mix all ingredients well. Press this mixture into the bottom of 9x13 inch sprayed pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Cool.
  2. Second Layer: Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cool whip. Spread on first layer. Add a little milk if necessary to make it spread easier.
  3. Third Layer: Blend the instant pudding mixes and milk until thick and spread on second layer.
  4. Fourth Layer: Use the rest of the cool whip from above 2nd layer. Spread over the third layer. Then top with the reserved nutmeats. Refrigerate until well set - atleast a couple of hours.
