Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 package yeast or 2 1/4 teaspoon
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- - oil for deep frying
How To Make zeppoli

Step 1Mix everything in a bowl and cover, let rise for 15 minutes.

Step 2Heat oil for deep frying.

Step 3Drop mixture by tablespoon into oil and fry until golden.

Step 4Drain on paper towels or wire rack. Or you can just drop them right into powdered sugar or sugar/cinnamon.

Step 5For added varieties, you can add shredded lemon or orange rind to the mix
