Zeppoles are enjoyed in New York at street fairs... Nothing beats the taste of hot Zeppole covered in sugar. Receipe can be easily doubled.

Ingredients
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 1 cup 7-up or other lemon-lime flavored soda
- pinch of salt
- - enough oil to deep fry
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
How To Make zeppole

Step 1Combine flour with 7-up and salt. Mix well

Step 2Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to absorb oil. When you're done frying the dough, place the zeppoles in a paper bag add the confectioners sugar and shake the bag until all the Zeppole are covered in sugar... Enjoy!
