I make these a lot for pot-lucks etc. Everyone loves them. Seems a lot of people have never tasted a real homemade brownie!

Ingredients

1 and 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
8 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup vegetable oil
4 - eggs
1/4 cup water
- chopped nuts (optional)

How To Make vicki's homemade brownies

Step 1

Mix all ingredients, stir in (nuts optional)

Step 2

Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Frost or dust lightly with powdered sugar.
