These are easier to make than it seems they should be because they're absolutely delicious!

3 oz pkgat room temperature

1\2 cbutter at room temperature

1 cflour
-
2/3 cpecans, chopped

1 eggbeaten

3\4 c(firmly packed) brown sugar

1 tspvanilla
How To Make vickie's pecan tarts

1Combine cream cheese, 1\2 cup butter and flour into pastry. Chill one hour or longer. Divide into 24 parts. Shape into balls. Press each ball into miniture muffin tin. Leave no holes

2Partially fill the 24 tart shells with pecans. Combine remaining ingredients and 1 tsp butter; mix well.

3Pour 1 tsp over pecan-filled shells. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees or until brown. Cool slightly. Remove from tins.
