This recipe comes from a dear sweet lady who was a cook on a riverboat for years and years. We all called her Ms. Nick.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can large can sliced peaches

How To Make tug boat cobbler

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt stick of butter (or oleo) in 13x9 pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix sugar, flour, and milk. Pour over melted butter.
  • Step 3
    Pour can of peaches (with syrup) over batter..you might want to cut the peaches up if they are large slices. Bake for about 35 minutes or until golden.
