These are thicker than the original Kelloggs bars. The Kelloggs recipe uses 3 T. butter, 6 cups krispies, and about 40 marshmallows..(10 ounces).

Ingredients
- 9 cups rice krispies
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 75 large marshmallows
How To Make thick and chewy rice krispie bars

Step 1In a large heavy bottom pan, melt butter and add marshmallows over low to medium heat.

Step 2Stir constantly until completely melted.

Step 3Remove from heat. Add rice krispies and stir until completely coated with marshmallows. At this point you may stir in chopped peanuts. I do.

Step 4Spread into greased 9x13 pan. Cut and enjoy.
