love this recipe .. i have made this several times and its a big hit ..

Ingredients

  • - club crackers (not saltines)
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 12oz packages milk chocolate or semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup diced pecans
  • - pam spray

How To Make texas crunch bar

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 9"x12" pan with foil that has been sprayed with Pam. Line pan with Club crackers.
  • Step 2
    Mix 1 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar and boil for 5 minutes in a heavy pan, stirring constantly.
  • Step 3
    Pour over crackers. Put in oven for 3 to 5 minutes until crackers float. Sprinkle with 12 ounce package of milk chocolate chips or semi sweet. Spread with knife when melted and sprinkle with 1 cup diced pecans. Refrigerate and cut into bars.
