This is one of my favorite treats I've always made for Christmas. My daughter loves it & specifically requests it every year, as this is her "to die for & must have" treat...

Ingredients
- 5 cups cake crumbs
- 1/2 cup raisins or currants
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons warmed & sieved apricot jam
- 1 tablespoon dark rum
- - enough chocolate sprinkles to coat all 15 balls
How To Make tea-time truffles/rum balls

Step 1Mix 1st 3 ingredients in a large bowl.

Step 2Then add in the jam & rum & mix in well to a stiff paste.

Step 3Form into balls, the size you like & immediately roll it in the chocolate rice, before it dries out.

Step 4Either chill the truffles or serve immediately.
