I recently got this recipe out of the paper. This is a different twist on cinnamon apples and so very tasty and easy to make!!!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup red cinnamon candies
- 2 cups water
- 6 small tart apples, peeled and cored
- 3 ounces pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/3 cup chopped, pitted dates
- 3/4 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
How To Make stuffed cinnamon apples

Step 1In 3 qt. saucepan, cook cinnamon candies in over over medium heat until dissolved. Add apples and cook uncovered over medium heat until tender; about 15 - 20 minutes. Turn once during cooking. Remove apples and refrigerate them with syrup several hours, turning once.

Step 2Blend together cream cheese, milk, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy. Add dates, pineapple, and pecans. Drain apples and stuff centers with cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate apples several hours before serving. DELISH!!
