How to Make Strufili - Italian Honey Balls
- Cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs, vanilla and anise.
- Combine the sifted flour, baking powder and salt and add slowly to the wet mixture.
- Form into a dough ball. Roll into 1/2” logs and slice into 3/4” sections.
- Deep fry. Top with honey and nonpareils or powdered sugar.
