This is a great salad to take on a picnic or a covered dish at church in the summer. My children and grand children love this and ask for it every time we have a get together.

2 c
crushed pretzels ( i use snyder snaps)
3/4 c
butter, melted
3 Tbsp
1 c
8 oz
softened cream cheese
8 oz
container cool whip
6 oz
raspberry jello
2 c
boiling water
20 oz
unsweetened whole frozen strawberries


1Bottom Layer: mix together crushed pretzels 3/4 cup melted butter and 3 tbls of sugar. Press in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Bake @ 400 degrees for 8 min. Let cool.
2Middle Layer: beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until well blended. Fold in cool whip, pour on top of pretzel layer.
3Top Layer: Dissolve jello in boiling water, cut frozen berries in half and add berries to the jello. While jello is still liquidy pour onto middle layer. Refrig. until completely jelled.
