strawberry pretzel salad

This is a great salad to take on a picnic or a covered dish at church in the summer. My children and grand children love this and ask for it every time we have a get together.

Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed pretzels ( i use snyder snaps)
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 8 ounces container cool whip
- 6 ounces raspberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 20 ounces unsweetened whole frozen strawberries
How To Make strawberry pretzel salad

Step 1Bottom Layer: mix together crushed pretzels 3/4 cup melted butter and 3 tbls of sugar. Press in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Bake @ 400 degrees for 8 min. Let cool.

Step 2Middle Layer: beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until well blended. Fold in cool whip, pour on top of pretzel layer.

Step 3Top Layer: Dissolve jello in boiling water, cut frozen berries in half and add berries to the jello. While jello is still liquidy pour onto middle layer. Refrig. until completely jelled.
