  • 3/4 c
    sour cream
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 c
  • 3
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 4 c
    sifted, flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp

How to Make Sour Cream Donuts


  1. Combine sour cream and milk; beat until foamy. Gradually add sugar and eggs, beating until sugar is dissolved.Stir in vanilla and sifted dry ingredients.
  2. Chill 1 hour. Roll 1/2 thick. Cut out doughnuts.
  3. Fry in deep hot fat (365) until bown on both sides and cooked through.
  4. Drain on paper towels.
