sour cream
1/4 c
milk
1 c
sugar

1 tsp
vanilla extract
4 c
sifted, flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
nutmeg
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt

How to Make Sour Cream Donuts

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine sour cream and milk; beat until foamy. Gradually add sugar and eggs, beating until sugar is dissolved.Stir in vanilla and sifted dry ingredients.
  • 2Chill 1 hour. Roll 1/2 thick. Cut out doughnuts.
  • 3Fry in deep hot fat (365) until bown on both sides and cooked through.
  • 4Drain on paper towels.
