1/4 clight brown sugar
How to Make Seventh Heaven
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
THE NUTS: Chop the Walnuts, Pecans, & Almonds up in a food processor. ROAST the nuts on a cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes. Let the nuts cool & combine with the FRIENDS, White Sugar & Cornstarch. - MAKINGS FOR MERINGUE: Beat the Egg Whites & Salt at LOW SPEED until opaque. Increase speed (go for high!) & whip in the Brown Sugar gradually into the egg whites in a steady stream. Whip until a firm peak is obtained.
- Fold the Nut Mixture into the Egg White Mixture. LOWER OVEN TEMPERATURE to 300 degrees F. Using a 9" x 13" pan that I would slightly grease up; wiping off excess, put the FINISHED MIXTURE into it.
- Bake until golden brown & dry, about an hour.
