Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup, light
  • 1/2 cup rum any kind

How To Make rum balls

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl mix together crushed wafers and nuts.
  • Step 2
    Blend in the corn syrup,and rum. Let the mixture rest for two hours.
  • Step 3
    Now the fun starts.Shape into 1/2 ounce balls. Roll each ball in powdered sugar,cocoa powder,or red and green sugar.
  • Step 4
    Store in a air-tight container for two or three days to develop the flavers.
