It can be used as a side dish or even as a dessert with ice cream over it.
I have also included a variation that I have often made as well.
- 3 c
- chopped rhubarb
- 6 slice
- slices of bread, cubed
- 1 stick
- margarine, melted
- 1 c
How to Make RHUBARB CASSEROLE
- 1Mix all ingredients and put in a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour to 45 mins.
- 2Variation: Add 2 eggs and 1 cup of milk, 1 tsp vanilla and a dash of cinnamon, for a bread pudding type of texture to use as a dessert.
