reese's and toffee cheesecake

I made this chesecake and took it to my daughters house for dessert following a great meal she had prepared. the only thing anyone could say was ummmmm.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans, in pieces
  • 10 packages reese's cups (regular size)
  • 1-8oz package heath toffee bits
  • 3-8oz packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons self rising flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • CRUST
  • 1-11.5oz package butter cookies
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 stick butter

How To Make reese's and toffee cheesecake

  • Step 1
    To make crust, crush butter cookies in zip bag using rolling pin. In bowl mix this and other 3 ingredients. Pat into 8 by 11 baking pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Cool while making filling.
  • Step 2
    In gallon size zip bag crumble frozen reese's cups, add pecans and heath toffee bits, mix all together and sit aside. In medium bowl cream,, cream cheese and sugar, add other five ingredients then fold half the mixture from bag. Pour into prepared crust and put the other half of bagged mixture evenly over top and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cool then refrigerate for 6-8 hours. Serve.
