raspberry white chocolate bread pudding

This is an old recipe from my mother in law. You can also tear the bread in pieces instead of cutting squares. Can also heat the milk till warm and pour over bread.

Ingredients For raspberry white chocolate bread pudding

  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    whipping cream
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pkg
    loaf of bread cut into 1 inch squares 6-7 cups
  • 2 c
    frozen or fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 c
    white vanilla baking chips

How To Make raspberry white chocolate bread pudding

    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Oil 3 quart casserole dish.

    In bowl beat eggs,milk,cream,vanilla,sugar and salt. Mix till well blended.

    Add bread press into egg mixture until all is coated. Stir in raspberries and baking chips.

    Pour into baking dish. Bake covered with foil or lid 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or untill golden brown.
