I got this recipe from my sister in Oklahoma, she made the when I went to visit her, and they were yummy. I made them and took them to work today and my co-workers absolutely loved them, so I thought I would share the recipe here.

Ingredients For raspberry fudge brownies

  • 1/2 c
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 jar
    (12 ounces) raspberry jam, divided
  • 18
    chocolate wafer cookies, finely ground
  • 1/2 c
    cups all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    cup chopped wanuts

How To Make raspberry fudge brownies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and 1/2 cup jam, beating until smooth. Add ground cookies and flour; mix well. Pour batter into a greased 8 X 11-inch baking dish. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over batter. Bake 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

    In a small saucepan, melt remaining jam over low heat stirring constantly. Stir in walnuts. Pour mixture over brownies. Cool completely in pan. Cut into 2-inch squares. Store in an airtight container. Makes about 1-1/2 dozens
