Ingredients For raspberry chocolate oatmeal squares

  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 1/3 c
    rolled oats
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    butter, chilled
  • 3 Tbsp
    raspberry preserves
  • 3 Tbsp
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make raspberry chocolate oatmeal squares

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Line 5"x5" baking pan with parchment paper. Spray it with cooking spray.

    Mix together, flour, oats. brown sugar and baking powder.

    Cut in butter, with fingers, until mixture is crumbly.

    Set aside 1/4 cup of mixture for topping.

    Spread remaining mixture in pan.

    Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until just beginning to brown.

    Remove from oven and allow to cool for 30 minutes. It will return to oven for baking after cooling for the 30 minutes.

    Spread raspberry preserves over the crust.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and then the remaining 1/4 cup of the oat mixture.

    Bake for 23-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.

    Allow to cool in pan before cutting into 4 squares.
