As a young girl with three brothers and one sister I remember making this dessert with my Mother. We always had a yard full of neighbor kids coming over to play. This was a quick and easy dessert to make for a Mom with five children and who was on a tight budget.

Ingredients
- 1 box honey graham crackers
- 1/2 pound butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make quickie dessert

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 10" x 15" cookie sheet, with sides,(ungreased) with Honey Graham Crackers. Cut at perferations and lay side by side. Cover with chopped nuts.

Step 2In an saucepan, melt butter and sugar; bring to a boil and boil two minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and mix well.

Step 3Pour carefully and slowly over nut covered crackers and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool in pan for at least ten minutes more,then take out of pan and cool completely on racks.
