Quick and Easy Pineapple Jam Bars

My husband had a sweet tooth one night and was begging me to make him something sweet. All I had in my Pantry was a Yellow Cake Mix and jar of Pineapple Jam. These bars are the result of that request and we have made them several times since with a few variations. I have added some peanut butter in place of some of the butter to the cake mix and used a strawberry jam instead for delicious PB & J bars. Exchanging Lemon Cake Mix and Raspberry Jam for the main ingredients is another fine variation. I hope you enjoy this easy recipe.

How to Make Quick and Easy Pineapple Jam Bars

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2Combine the Cake Mix, Butter and Egg in a bowl until it is combined and forms a "dough". I usually mix mine by hand.

  • 5Place small pieces of the remaining "dough" on top of the jam until it is all used up.
