Found this in a cookbook i just recived in the mail tried it everyone who tried it liked it next time i think i will add a little more mincemeat that was my favorite part!

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter, cold
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 27 ounces jar mincemeat
  • 1 15 ounces can pumpkin
  • 1 14 ounces can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make pumpkin treats

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 425
  • Step 2
    In medium bowl,combine flour,brown sugar and sugar. Cut butter into flour mixture using pastry blender or two knives until mixture crumbles. Stir in pecans.Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture; press remaining crumb mixture in bottom and halfway up sides of 15 1/2x10 1/2x1-inch baking pan. Spoon mincemeat over crust. In another bowl,combine pumpkin,milk,eggs,cinnamom,allspice and salt; mix until well blended. Pour mixture over mincemeat. Top with reserved crumb mixture. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350; bake an additional 40 minutes or until golden brown around edges. Cool in pan.Cut into bars and serve warm or room temperature. Store in refrigerator
