I have not tried these yet...but, what's not to like? I think I will add nuts to this when I make it.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 can pumpkin 15 oz can
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 2/3 cups sugar

How To Make pumpkin bars

  • Step 1
    Sift dry ingredients together, set aside
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl,combine eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until light and fluffy.
  • Step 3
    Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture, gradually, mixing well.
  • Step 4
    Spread batter in a 9X15 baking pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely.
  • Step 5
    When completely cool..frost with the following frosting
  • Step 6
    Frosting i 8 oz pkg of cream cheese 1/3 cup softened butter 4 cups powdered sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 1 Tbs. milk Cream together butter and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. MIx with hand mixer on high speed until smooth and creamy....ENJOY!!
