Powdered Sugar Dusted Lemon Bars
I don't remember where I got this recipe but have been making them for so many years...can't remember how long.
My motto: If it works don't fix it! LOL
1 call purpose flour
1/4 csifted powdered sugar
1/2 cunsalted butter (one stick)
3/4 cgrandulated sugar
3 Tbsplemon juice
1/2 tsplemon zest, grated (make sure to only use the yellow skin of the lemon, not the white)
2 Tbspall purpose flour
1/4 tspbaking powder
·powdered sugar for dusting
How to Make Powdered Sugar Dusted Lemon Bars
- preheat oven at 350 degrees
Have your pan available: 8x8x2
- In a separate bowl "stir" together 2 tablespoons flour and baking powder until combined.
Add to egg mixture and blend until all is moistened.
Make sure to get all the yummy lemon zest off your beaters and back in the bowl!
