Ingredients For popcorn balls

  • 10 c
    popcorn, popped
  • 1 1/2 c
    small gum drops opt
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine or butter
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How To Make popcorn balls

  • 1
    line cookie sheet with wax paper. in large bowl combine popcorn and gumdrops
  • 2
    in medium saucepan, combine sugar,corn syrup, margarine, and salt; mix well bring to a boil . cook over medium-high heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. remove from heat. add to popcorn mixture; mix well
  • 3
    with hands dipped in cold water, shape mixture into 2 1/2-inch balls. place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheets. cool for 15 minutes wrap individually in plastic wrap
