I used to make this for the holidays and had misplaced the recipe. I am so glad to have found it as it is very tasty and moist.

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (do not use cake with pudding in the mix)
  • 1 box instant pistachio pudding (small)
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make pistachio bread

  • Step 1
    Beat together cake mix, pudding, eggs, water, oil, and sour cream. Pour 1/3 of the batter in a greased loaf pan. Mix sugar, nuts and cinnamon together in a separate bowl. Alternate layers of batter with layers of cinnamon mixture (3 each); ending with cinnamon mixture as top layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. ENJOY!!!
