pineapple roll ups
These are definitely not low-fat but they are a delicious, different treat. They are worth the work to make them, at least to me.

Ingredients
- BASE LAYER
- 1 package white bread
- FILLING
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 small can crushed pineapple, juice squeezed out
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- COATING
- 1-2 stick butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
How To Make pineapple roll ups
-
Step 1Prepare bread for filling by cutting off all the crusts and rolling each piece flat with a rolling pin.
-
Step 2Combine filling ingredients until smooth. Spread a layer of fillig on 1 side of each bread piece. Roll up jelly roll style.
-
Step 3Dip each roll into melted butter and then into cinnamon sugar mixture. Set aside on a pan in a single layer. When all bread is rolled up and sugared, place pan in freezer overnight.
-
Step 4The next day when you get ready to bake these preheat the oven to 350. Place the pan, with the rolls still in a single layer, in the oven and bake for 10-15 mintes.
