Ingredients
- 1 pound farmer's cheese, ground
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- TOPPING
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- DOUGH
- 3 1/4 cups flour
- 1 egg
- salt
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make pierogi with sweet cheese, mark

Step 1Dough: Combine flour and egg, a dash of salt, and as much water as needed to knead a smooth, loose dough Roll out on a floured board to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out into about 2 inch cirlces or squares. Filling: Mix chees with vanilla, sugar, and egg yolk. Spoon the mixuture on each piece of dough, fold and seal the edges. Cook in a large kettle in boiling water for 5 mintues until they float. Remove with a slotted spoon to a serving platter. Topping: Melt the butter. Pour over the pierogi. Mix the sour cream with the sugar. Serve in a separate bowl.
