peggy morgan butter tarts
My mom used to work at curling rink concession. Peggy made the butter tarts in the kitchen. Mom says they never lasted, long as they were a best seller. Peggy gave the recipe to Mom and passed it on to me. I only added the raisins and walnuts as optional. Enjoy!

- 6 large eggs
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 cup raisins (optional)
- 1 cup walnuts (optional)
