Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup pecans - chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 dash salt
- CRUST
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 4 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 1/4 cups flour
How To Make pecan tassies

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2Mix together melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, brown sugar and a dash of salt. Add chopped pecans. Set aside

Step 3Cream together softened butter and cream cheese, add flour. either scoop with 1 inch dough scoop or roll into one inch balls and press into small tart pan. I use a tart press to make more even crusts. Add pecan filling to each.

Step 4Bake for 15 minutes until edges of crust are golden brown. Cool and enjoy. Makes 2 dozen.
