I ate one of these at a church function and absolutely fell in love. I searched until I found who made it and got her recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup butter, cut up
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups pecans, chopped fine & lightly toasted
How To Make pecan pie squares

Step 1For crust: cream butter and sugar, add egg and flour. Press into a large buttered cookie sheet with edges or 2 9x13 pans. It's kind of difficult to spread the mixture on the cookie sheet, but trust me, it is well worth the effort. Cook 20 minutes at 350 degrees & cool completely.

Step 2For filling: Bring butter, brown sugar, white sugar, honey & cream to a boil, stirring constantly. Add pecans and salt and bring back to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes. Pour onto crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool completely and cut into bars or whatever shape you want. ENJOY!!!
