Pecan Pie Squares

Ingredients

2 stickbutter, softened

1/4 cgranulated sugar

1 largeegg
-
2 call purpose flour
-
1 cbutter, cut up
-
1 clight brown sugar
-
1/4 cgranulated sugar
-
3/4 choney
-
1/4 cheavy cream
-
1/8 tspsalt
-
4 cpecans, chopped fine & lightly toasted
How to Make Pecan Pie Squares
- For crust: cream butter and sugar, add egg and flour. Press into a large buttered cookie sheet with edges or 2 9x13 pans. It's kind of difficult to spread the mixture on the cookie sheet, but trust me, it is well worth the effort. Cook 20 minutes at 350 degrees & cool completely.
- For filling: Bring butter, brown sugar, white sugar, honey & cream to a boil, stirring constantly. Add pecans and salt and bring back to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes. Pour onto crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool completely and cut into bars or whatever shape you want. ENJOY!!!
