Ingredients

  • 2 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 stick
    butter
  • 1 bag(s)
    peanut butter chips
  • 1 bag(s)
    milk chocolate chips
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    coarsely chopped cocktail peanuts
  • ***PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES***

How to Make Peanutty Gooey Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. For Crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs. cocoa, margarine and sugar in a medium bowl and mix well. Press mixture in a 9x13 baking pan.
  2. For Topping: Microwave 1/2 cup of each: chocolate and peanut butter morsels along with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla in a microwave safe bowl on high for 1 minute. Stir until morsels melt. (may have to microwave 10-20 seconds longer) Pour evenly over crust. Top with chopped nuts and another 1/2 cup of each type morsel. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees then let cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
  3. **Note** If you can find peanut butter and chocolate morsels mixed together in 1 bag (it will be 1 cup of mixed morsels in place of 1/2 cup of each type morsel)
