  • 4 c
    rice krispies cereal
  • 1 c
    jif peanut butter
  • 1 c
    karo syrup
  • 1 c
    sugar

How to Make Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

Step-by-Step

  1. Measure out cereal and sit aside in a large bowl.

    -Butter a 13x9 pan/baking dish.

    -Take a large skillet and add karo syrup and sugar.

    -Cook sugar and syrup on medium heat, stirring frequently. Once mixture starts to bubble, turn off and remove from heat.

    -Stir peanut butter into syrup/sugar mixture until melted.

    -Pour mixture over cereal. Mix with spoon immediately.

    -Transfer to buttered dish.

    -Gently press down with buttered spatula.

    -Let stand a couple minutes, cut and serve!
