- 1 bag Reese's peanut butter chips (10 oz)
- 1/2 cup Reese's creamy peanut butter
How To Make peanut butter marshmallow krispie bars
-
Step 1Apply a bit of butter to coat the inside of an 8"x 8" baking pan; then set pan aside.
-
Step 2In an 8-cup microwave save bowl, add the peanut butter and Reese's Peanut Butter Baking Chips.
-
Step 3Place the bowl in the microwave, and cook on "HIGH" for 40 seconds.
-
Step 4Remove bowl from the microwave, and stir the peanut butter mixture well.
-
Step 5Once again place the bowl in the microwave, and cook on "HIGH" for 15 seconds.
-
Step 6Remove bowl from the microwave, and stir the peanut butter mixture well; until contents is smooth.
-
Step 7Now add the Rice Krispies and marshmallows; stir well, then pour the mixture into the 8x8-inch pan. Be sure to spread evenly with a spoon.
-
Step 8Place the pan (uncovered) in the refrigerator for just 30 minutes, then remove, and cut into 12 or 14 squares.
-
Step 9Note: When I microwaved the peanut butter and Reese's Peanut Butter Chips, I did this in a 1,000 watt microwave oven for 1 minute & 10 seconds. Also, these can be vacuumed sealed and stored in the freezer for quite some time. Even after 6 months in the freezer, they were quite delicious.
