I received this recipe from an old co-worker. It is really easy to make and my family loves them.

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 - eggs
1 cup chocolate chips or plain m&m's
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make peanut butter brownies

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*

Step 2

Cream together first 5 ingredients until light and fluffy.
Step 3

Add dry ingredients and blend well.
Step 4

Add candy pieces and spread into a greased 9" x 13" pan.
Step 5

Bake at 350* for 30 - 35 minutes or until golden.
Step 6

Cool and enjoy :)
