I'm not a fan of fudge brownies, but love blondies. Chocolate chips can also be used instead of butterscotch.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter, smooth or crunchy
- 3 - eggs
- 1 stick butter, room temperature (unsalted)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces butterscotch chips (or more, if you like)
How To Make peanut butter blondies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350°.

Step 2In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar, peanut butter, eggs, butter and vanilla.

Step 3In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.

Step 4Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth. Stir in butterscotch chips

Step 5Spread into an ungreased 9x13 pan

Step 6Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes. They will be cracking and brown around the edges when done. Cool, cut and serve.
