I'm not a fan of fudge brownies, but love blondies. Chocolate chips can also be used instead of butterscotch.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
sugar
1/2 c
peanut butter, smooth or crunchy
3
eggs
1 stick
butter, room temperature (unsalted)
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
6 oz
butterscotch chips (or more, if you like)

How to Make Peanut Butter Blondies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar, peanut butter, eggs, butter and vanilla.
  • 3In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • 4Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
    Stir in butterscotch chips
  • 5Spread into an ungreased 9x13 pan
  • 6Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes.
    They will be cracking and brown around the edges when done.
    Cool, cut and serve.
