I got this recipe from Heavenly Homemakers website. They satisfy the want for something sweet and peanut buttery. Yummy!

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking chocolate, semi-sweet
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups whole wheat flour (i used freshly ground)
1 1/2 cups apples, peeled and diced small

How To Make peanut butter apple cookie bars

Step 1

Combine the butter, peanut butter & brown sugar until creamy.

Step 2

Add eggs, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda & salt, stirring until well combined
Step 3

Mix in flour.
Step 4

Fold in apples
Step 5

Spread into greased 9x13 baking dish
Step 6

Bake at 350’ for about 25 minutes or until set.
